Perhaps the most known sneakerhead on the planet, Sean Wotherspoon, has returned for yet another collaboration with the German sportswear brand adidas. This time around, the sneaker designer is giving the SUPEREARTH revamp to adidas Originals’ ZX 8000.
Similar to the first collaboration’s aesthetic, Wotherspoon continues this style with the ZX 8000, covering the upper in a variety of colours, some of which go, some of which clash. Having said this, the calculated randomness leads to an instantly recognisable look.
As well as this, the ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH rocks a whole bundle of branding. Interestingly, this branding sits on top of the canvas, jute-like material, cloth and faux leather. However, although we know all of this regarding the style, we still haven’t had a whole image of the pair yet, instead just teasers from Sean himself. Last but not least, the pair is rounded off with a creamy-white sole unit featuring coloured specs.
Take a look at the teasers for Sean Wotherspoon’s adidas Originals ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH below. If you like what you see then sit tight as the pair are set to drop in February 2021, with a suspected price tag of $140.
