The Los Angeles-based brand that is Free & Easy has teamed with Vault by Vans in order to produce a collab that pays tribute to the LA scene.
Drawing from its own SoCal roots which span back to 1966, Vault by Vans’s latest collab has looked to mellow retro aesthetics. Consequently, the range features a light ’70s-inspired colour palette throughout. Specifically, gold and orange are primarily used, backed up by white or navy basecoats.
As for what these designs sit on, the OG Sk8-Hi LX, Era and Old Skool silhouettes have been utilised, all of which reflect the laidback vibe the duo are going for. Last but not least, Free & Easy’s signature “Don’t Trip” branding appears across the Sk8-Hi, as well as the collection’s hats, tees and hoodies.
