From helping blaze the Grime trial back in the day to dropping an exclusive guest mix for Toddla T on BBC Radio 1Xtra just recently, Mak 10 has been keeping the genre on track for a while now.

However, just recently the Dizzee Rascal, Ghetts, D Double E and Kano producer teamed with yet another longtime Grime creative, Joe Fire. Creating a new cut that fuses grime, garage and R&B, the duo titles their latest track ‘The Best’. Opening with Lil’ Mo’s ‘4Ever’, the track is a culmination of R&B vocals chopped into a hard-hitting 140 BPM instrumental. From here, Joe Fire thickens the song with romanticised bars and suitable flows.

Take a listen to Mak 10 and Joe Fire’s latest track, ‘The Best’, below.
