J Cole’s partnership with PUMA has been pretty commonly known for a while now, but recently we saw news break about a brand new RS-Dreamer basketball shoe.
The shoe features a 5/8 cut with the upper adorned in a minimalistic black, as well as this, expect a cord lacing system in this same sleek colour. Unlike the simple upper, the bottom half is adorned in a vibrant mixture of yellow, red, purple and mint accents. Last but not least the DREAMER logo sits on the heel while PUMA’s can be found on the tongue.
“Over the years, basketball shoes have progressed greatly in their level of technology and comfort but have strayed too far away from designs stylish enough for cultural relevancy” said Cole, adding: “The Dreamer hopes to change that reality. The highest level of on-court performance meets the highest level of aesthetic design for daily wear. Once again, you can hoop in the same shoes you wore outside.”
