After his Kids See Ghosts partner had his YEEZY 451 sample leaked online, Kid Cudi has gone ahead and given us a peek of his very own upcoming collabs. Interestingly, these collabs aren’t based within the music scene, instead, he gave fans an update on upcoming collaborations with none other than BAPE x G-SHOCK and adidas.
Cudi has been loyal to the BAPE brand for a long time now, not surprisingly given that he was actually working at BAPE’s SoHo flagship before his career as a rapper blew up. The teaser Cudi shared was via Twitter and consisted of a vibrant pink G-SHOCK watch. The video showed the Casio G-Shock adorned with BAPE’s instantly recognisable APE head branding, and with no further images, it’s unknown as to whether we can expect this as a one-off product, or as a part of a wider capsule.
This wasn’t all that Cudi shared, in fact, a tweet he sent out informed his followers that an adidas collaboration he has been working on is set to drop sometime this fall.
