The sacai X Nike collaboration is one of the most highly anticipated sneaker releases of 2020. Thankfully, YankeeKicks was able to get a closer look of the shoe in its “Black/Summit White/Pure Platinum” colourway.
The trainer, previously named the sacai X Nike Vaporwaffle, is being released under its new Pegasus Vaporfly SP name, with a new colourway to match. The sneaker is made up of suede and mesh and features the renowned doubling up of materials, components and details.
The sole of the trainer is arguably the most interesting feature, the bottom layer is simply constructed of black and cream foam. This sits flat to the second layer, which is curved at the heel, giving the illusion of a gap in the sole. On the heels, you can see the sacai branding in two forms.
