Vans have teamed up with skateboarding superstar and photographer, Jerry Hsu and his brand SCI-FI FANTASY, in a 90’s tech-inspired collection. The collection features colourways for the Vans Old Skool’s, SK8 HI’s and the Vans Tri-lock Sandals.

The Old Skool shoes feature a vibrant green quarter with royal blue toe box and heel. The tongue and heel feature embroidered SCI-FI FANTASY branding in yellow; with the heels spelling out the brands name and the tongue sports the brands “X” logo.

The SK8 HI’s are made up of dark navy-blue quarter panels and collars and black suede on the toe box and eyestays. White embroidery makes up the “SCI-FI FANTASY” branding on the heels of the shoes and the “X” logo can be seen stitched on, as a patch.

Finally, the Vans Tri-lock Sandals come in a simple all-black colourway, with green contrast stitching on the heel strap. Unlike the Sk8-Hi’s and Old Skool’s the Tri-Lock puts the full phrase, SCI-FI FANTASY on both heels. The collection also features a jersey which sports the phrase, “Generic Technology”, in Chinese on the chest.

The Sci-Fi Fantasy x Vans collection is currently live on the Vans website and available from other retailers. You can check out the collection below.
