After previously collaborating on a pair of patent leather lace-ups late last year, Dr. Martens and the renowned Japanese label that is UNDERCOVER have returned.

To be a little more precise, Dr. Martens and UNDERCOVER have revamped the iconic 1460 boot as a part of their ever-growing library of collabs that celebrate the model’s 60th anniversary. So far, the likes of Yohji Yamamoto, Raf Simons and BEAMS have taken part, but this latest release looks to be the most elegant so far.

As for what to expect, Takahashi has adorned the 1460 boots in a sleek all-black colourway, consequently the pair turn to the use of corduroy in its construction to pack an aesthetic punch. From here, each pair sports an ‘S’ on the right vamp while an ‘N’ decorates the left’s. These embroidered details stand for “Spiritual Noise,” a phrase that often appears within UNDERCOVER ventures. Last but not least, the inside of the 1460 boot is rounded off via a newly-created floral print that covers the insole of the shoe.

Take a look at the UNDERCOVER x Dr. Martens 1460 collab below, if you like what you see then head over to Dr. Marten’s online store on the 23rd of May to cop yourself a pair.
