Punk rock’s iconic footwear provider, Dr. Martens, is back again with another collaboration. This time they are returning to their roots and working with their first-ever collaborative partner, Yohji Yamamoto.

Yohji is infamous for defying conventions of construction, with a legacy of designing menswear worn by women, often playing with the relationship between masculine and feminine. Yohji’s lens has been used to reimagine the 1460 boot once again, this time the boot is constructed using smooth black leather and features Yamamato’s standout spider web print.

The laces are wound through a glossy black decorative spider while the tongue has Yohji’s signature embossed into the leather. “The boot is a clash of two nonconformists. A symbol of rebellion” says Dr. Martens.

Take a look at the boots below, if you want to cop the collab for yourself then sit tight as it drops on the 25th of April via Dr. Marten’s online store.
