Fans of Virgil Abloh and his renowned brainchild brand that is Off-White™ have been waiting for news regarding the release of the much-teased and long-awaited “Sail” iteration of the Off-White™ x Nike Air Jordan 5.

The upcoming collab with Off-White™ is Nike and Jordan’s way of celebrating the 30th anniversary of their highly successful and iconic Air Jordan 5 silhouette. As for what to expect, the classic model sees a toned-down rework in comparison to the pair’s previous “Metallic” iteration.

As you would expect from Abloh at this point, the Air Jordan 5 features a translucent TPE deconstructed aesthetic which plays nicely off the subtle sail and beige hues. Contrastingly, dark red hints can be found jaggedly across the midsole.

As well as this, expect Jumpman branding 3M reflective branding on the tongue, while Off-White™’s text can be seen on the medial midfoot. Last but not least, branded laces, upside-down “AIR JORDAN” patches and “23” found on the heel round the pair off nicely.

Supposedly priced at $225, the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5 “Sail” is set to drop near the end of the summer, likely through Nike’s SNKRS app. If you want to be the first to know specifically, make sure you sign up to our newsletter.
