Justin Roiland, the co-creator of the world-renowned sci-fi show that is Rick and Morty, has clearly been hard at work over recent times. The reason for thinking this is that not long Rick and Morty Season 4 was being released, yet Justin has just revealed a brand new space-focused show, this time exclusively for Hulu.
The trailer for new series titled ‘Solar Opposites’ shows that Roiland, alongside former Rick and Morty writer’s assistant and executive producer Mike McMahan, has worked on depicting the lives of Aliens who have crash-landed on Earth and have to blend in as an average American family. Roiland will, of course, be providing his voice, alongside the likes of Thomas Middleditch, Sean Giambroni, Mary Mack, Tiffany Haddish, Alfred Molina, Christina Hendricks, Jason Mantzoukas, Ken Marino and Rainn Wilson.
According to the official synopsis: “Solar Opposites centres around a team of four aliens who escape their exploding homeworld only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo and Yumyulack only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry and Jesse love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living supercomputer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.”
The eight half-hour episodes of Solar Opposites Season 1 is set to premiere on Hulu on the 8th of May, you can watch the whole trailer below.
