The ever-rising Nigerian singer and songwriter that is Burna Boy has clearly been hard at work as after just releasing visuals for “Secret,” featuring Jeremih and Serani last month, Burna Boy has returned with a brand new track, “Odogwu.”
Interestingly, the new cut which can be translated to “Hero” in English arrives with just over 3 minutes of midtempo instrumentals. This has then been layered with harmonious guitar melodies, smooth percussions and Burna Boy’s signature flow and cadence. The successful production of the track lands thanks to the afrobeat producer, Kel P, who is responsible for a large part of the song’s infectious groove.
