The skatewear giants that are Supreme are yet again joining forces with an old skool hip-hop duo, this time opting for the revolutionary gangsters that are dead prez.

As for what to expect from the venture, the collaborative Fall 2019 collection was created by the Supreme brand in conjunction with the rappers M-1 and stic.man. A duo that met in 1990 at the HBCU Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, but moved to New York to develop their community-building message through their music.

However, it was only when they dropped their politically-charged debut album ‘Let’s Get Free’ did the rap duo gain the attention they deserved. With topics such as racism, police brutality, and big-company corruption being addressed, the project was quickly recognised as one of the most aware, polarizing and radical albums in rap history.

Since then, dead prez has turned their attention to more direct forms of activism, backing projects that focus on improving mental wellbeing, physical health and social care, as well as ventures that are looking to improve environmental conditions and sustainability.

Take a look at the dead prez x Supreme Fall 2019 collection below, if you like what you see then head over to any of Supreme’s physical stores or online shop to cop your favourites on the 5th of December. Japan will see a later release of the 7th.
