The American sportswear conglomerate that is Nike has yet again extended its collaborative library with Matthew M Williams as the British fashion, lifestyle and interior designer just rounded off their third full collection of apparel and footwear.
Specifically, the range titled “003” sees the popular duo yet again focus on outdoor-inspired pieces, most of which feature updated technical builds and cuts. In fact, the offerings were created after Williams and Nike combined their respective specialities, sports and outdoor wear, with the colour scheme looking to both black and red for impact.
Interestingly, Williams stated that the collection was inspired by the necessity of the outside world, saying that “being outside is so important. Fresh air and sunlight are proven to be two of the greatest benefits to the health and well-being of humans.”
The most exciting men’s offerings take the form of an oversized down parka with internal and external pockets, sherpa fleece/water repellant jackets and, of course, of Williams’ signature chest rigs and branded underwear. As for the women’s pieces, sports bra and a mechanical stretch pant can be expected while two colourways of the Joyride CC3 Setter round the collection off.
