At the beginning of the year, it was nothing but a rumour that Motorola’s iconic RAZR phone flip was getting a 2020 update, however, several months on and we have just received our first official hands-on pictures of the device.

Specifically, the RAZR revamp is seeing the renowned folding functionality stay put, thanks to the utilisation of folding LCD screen technology. As well as this, the updated RAZR flip phone will be running Android 9 Pie, will rock a 2.7-inch Quick View display, and even a fingerprint sensor in the phone’s bottom bezel.

A lot has changed since the last RAZR device, however, Motorola have done a good job at updating the specs. The 2020 RAZR will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor and 6GB of RAM while the storage will allow for 128GB of data. The phone’s front-facing camera will be an impressive 16MP with the ability for f/1.7 apature. Furthermore, expect a 5MP internal camera, a 2510mAh battery and, of course, the iconic RAZR branding.

Take a look at the Motorola 2020 RAZR below, if you like what you see then sit tight as the device is set to drop this December for $1499.99 but will start to roll out in January 2020. Additional pricing is yet to be announced for its availability in the UK, EU, Latin America, Asia and Australia.
