After its existence was teased just last month, Sonos’ highly anticipated portable speaker is set to arrive later this month, marking the first speaker on-the-go speaker from the brand.
Specifically, the device titled the Sonos Move is the renowned audio brand’s first attempt at creating a speaker for the outdoors, as opposed to their usual products which focus on the home. However, the company’s audio expertise is said to have been adapted for portable play seamlessly, stating that the device will offer a “surprisingly deep bass and a wide sound profile.”
As well as this, expect the battery-powered speaker to boast a more durable build than Sonos’ previous products, something which is obviously important when taking it out and about. Furthermore, the Sonos Move is promising buyers up to ten hours of use, all the while it can offer automatic sound adjustments and functionality with over one hundred streaming services such as AirPlay2, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
However, this doesn’t come cheaply, in fact, one of the biggest downsides to the Sonos Move is its hefty price tag, setting you back an eye-watering £399. Having said that, if music is your thing and you have that kind of change in your pocket then head over to Sonos’ website on the 24th of September to cop your own.
