Adam Savage, the renowned craftsman who is most widely known for his part in the Mythbusters, recently caught tech enthusiasts’ eyes everywhere, a consequence of the builder taking on the challenge of creating a partly-functioning Iron Man suit.
To be precise, as a part of Adam’s latest series, Savage Builds, the creator brings interesting gizmos and gadgets such as Mad Max-type vehicles, movie props, and in this case even a fully bulletproof, wearable Iron Man suit that can fly.
To be precise, Savage created the Mark II suit by 3D-printing the whole of it out of titanium, from here he then reached out to Richard Browning of Gravity Industries’ to install all of the suit’s flying functionality. In fact, a jetpack on the back and thrusters on the arms allow for the wearer to hover and fly in any direction they want.
While speaking on the topic, Adam Savage said: “I swear, if Tony f*cking Stark was not fictional and he was making an Iron Man suit right now, this is precisely how he would do it and this is the exact technology he’d be using,” watch the video above.
