Converse and JW Anderson notably joined forces back in 2017 to produce their eye-catching and boundary-pushing ‘Glitter_Gutter’ collection. However, now it looks like the duo is looking to return to the aesthetic in 2019 and we are definitely happy about it.

As for what to expect, the two obviously maintained the glitter-covered uppers, however, this time the Chuck 70s are arriving alongside the brand’s recently created hybrid silhouette, the Run Star Hike. More specifically, the Chuck 70s land in three different colourways while the Run Star Hike boasts just one.

Interestingly, Converse and JW Anderson have chosen to run with multiple colours per shoe but have only ever seen one hue make it to each face. Consequently, the pairs are eye-catching and perfect for the summer months. From here the design remains simplistic in order to not overdo it, opting for a reminiscent tongue, reading “2017” in imperfect text.

Take a look at the sneakers below, if you like what you see then you’re in luck as the collaborative sneakers are set to drop globally via Converse’s online store on the 9th of May.
