After the iconic German creative director, fashion designer, artist and photographer that is Karl Lagerfeld tragically passed away on the 19th of February, the fashion industry began paying homage to the creative and the culture-changing work that he put in.
Well, a new brand is set to honour the late creative via their Spring 2019 offerings, this time the label in question being the renowned streetwear brand, Stüssy. As for what they have created, a tee is set to be released that features a graphic that mimics Lagerfeld’s Chanel beauty campaign. Specifically, the image in question sees a model holding a branded makeup palette over one eye. The Stüssy version gives the model a ’60s-inspired makeover and replaces Chanel’s iconic double “C” branding with Stüssy’s overlapping “S” logo.
Take a look at the design below, if you like what you see then you are in luck as the item is set to drop tomorrow, the 8th of March, at select retailers as well as via Stüssy’s online store.
