The American rapper, singer and songwriter that is Lil Uzi Vert surprised fans of his yesterday as the creative took to his personal Instagram in order to inform his followers that he is no longer planning on creating music.

Specifically, Uzi uploaded an image of his feet with text that simply read: “I wanna take the time out to say I thank each and every one of my supporters but I’m done with Music,” adding “I deleted everything. I wanna be normal … I wanna wake up in 2013. You are free.”

This was particularly odd as Uzi had already teased fans with what would be his sophomore studio album, Eternal Atake, saying that they could expect it sometime this year, however, after he said he had deleted his music some believe that the album no longer exists. .As for whether this is a serious message, we will have to wait and see as it wouldn’t be surprising if it turns out to be some form of publicity stunt. If you are interested to know for sure then stay tuned and we will keep you up to date all the way.
