Now that the film is reaching a ripe old age of around 76 years, Disney has decided now would be a good time to recreate the film in order to bring it into the modern day.
As for how they are planning to do this, the mass media company has hired the American film director, producer, artist, writer, and animator that is Tim Burton in order to lead the way. As well as this, expect to see the likes of Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Finley Hobbins, Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton and Nico Parker alongside the iconic characters.
