Following Mac Miller’s tragic death last month fans and creatives alike have shown an outpour of support and love for the rapper and it looks like that isn’t going to end anytime soon.
In fact, the rapper’s life is being celebrated in a forthcoming tribute concert that will benefit the newly created charity named after the American rapper, singer, and record producer. Specifically, the Mac Miller Circles Fund will receive proceeds from the event after tickets for it will go on sale on the 5th of October at 1 p.m. EST via Ticketmaster. As for who is playing, an incredible lineup is set to take place as Anderson .Paak, Travis Scott, SZA, John Mayer, Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, Schoolboy Q, Miguel, Vince Staples, Chance the Rapper, TY Dolla $ign and more are all set to take the stage.
Karen Myers, Mac Miller’s mother had this to say about the event: “The support we’ve experienced is evident in this amazing lineup and is a testament to Malcolm’s incredible life,” adding “He was a caring, loving human with a smile that could light up the sky and a soul that was out to make the world a kinder place and the MMCF will continue to do just that.”
