The iconic street artist Banksy has followed up the numerous pieces of work he spread around Paris with a brand new piece of roadsign-inspired artwork in Clevedon, England.
Specifically, the Bristol-born artist adorned a sign with a stencil depicting two young children carrying two elderly individuals on their back, many locals were over the moon to hear that their area had been chosen by the anonymous creative however their joy didn’t last long.
Sadly, less than 24 hours after the piece was spotted, it went missing with no one knowing as of yet whether it was stolen or removed. One waitress who worked opposite the newly installed piece had this to say: “When I got into work this morning at around 7.45am, I went to have a look at the Banksy, but sadly it had already gone.” Adding: “I’d had a call at around 7 am from a friend saying that she couldn’t see anything there. So I think it must have been taken overnight.”
