Despite Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom having a 51% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic as well as an audience score of 57%, the movie has now passed the $1 Billion mark at the worldwide box office. This is in fact the seventh title of Universal’s that has surpassed this milestone with the others being Jurassic Park and Jurassic World as well as Despicable Me 3, Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious and Minions. As for how the film attained such an achievement, $304 million came from North America, while overseas the film raked in $700 milloion overall, the biggest contributors of this being $232 million from China, $45 million from both the UK and South Korea and $24 million from France.
