Palace and Vivienne Westwood have launched their first collaborative collection, blending the unique styles of both brands across clothing, accessories, jewellery, and skateboards. The collection is showcased in a lookbook shot by Shoichi Aoki, founder of FRUITS magazine.
Central to the collaboration is the revival of Vivienne Westwood’s Spring/Summer 1992 “Salon” print, featured on GORE-TEX jackets, track pants, and skirts. Accessories also highlight Westwood’s early 1990s iconography, including oversized teddy bear bags. Palace introduces its first womenswear piece, a modern take on Westwood’s classic corset, designed with black and white satin and featuring a print of Palace founder Lev Tanju’s dog, Stuart.
Vivienne Westwood’s Creative Director, Andreas Kronthaler, described the partnership as “natural,” noting the playful collaboration. The lookbook features a range of figures including rappers Sematary and Matt OX, and models such as Sibyl Buck and Lucien Clarke.
Palace co-founders Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis expressed admiration for Westwood’s influence, highlighting shared values of independence and creativity. Skewis emphasized the collection’s blend of both brands’ perspectives, all with a London-centric approach.
