J Hus has been making waves with his unique marketing tactics. Billboards and police tape with the words “NO MILITANCY” have been strategically placed all over East London, accompanied by a phone number that leads to a mysterious recording. A black branded Mercedes parked at a local dealership adds to the intrigue. All of these efforts culminate in the release of his latest single.
Produced by Fumes and The Elements, “It’s Crazy” lives up to its name with its high-energy sound. The accompanying visuals, directed by Taz Tron Delix, a close friend and collaborator of Stormzy and Headie One, enhance the experience even further.
In contrast to his previous summer-ready tracks, J Hus takes a darker approach with this release. The song subtly references Omar from the hit TV show The Wire, while J Hus repeatedly asserts that he is not concerned about fame and accolades that naturally come with his level of success.
