Converse is set to reintroduce one of its iconic silhouettes, the Converse Weapon, in partnership with Hiroshi Fujiwara and FRGMT design.

The Converse Weapon first hit the basketball court in 1986, and its cult status has endured. While it was only available for two years, the shoe has continued to be a firm favourite among basketball enthusiasts and sneakerheads. The collaboration with Fujiwara and fragment design brings a fresh and modern twist to the classic shoe.

Staying true to FRGMT’s signature aesthetic and the Weapon’s original form, the limited-edition capsule collection features a sport royal blue and black colour-blocking scheme, a full leather upper, and understated branding. The complementary apparel capsule includes a wool varsity jacket, a French terry hoodie, and two loose-fit jersey tees.

The Converse x FRGMT Weapon and apparel capsule will be available from May 11, 2023, in a limited global release on Converse.com and select retail partners.
