Timberland, the iconic American footwear and apparel brand, has launched the Future73 project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Original Boot. The project features collaborations with six global creatives who will reimagine the silhouette and offer new apparel pieces.
The first release comes from CLOT’s Edison Chen, who has used Timberland’s Premium 6-Inch Boot to mix “East Meets West” styles, resulting in tiger stripe detailing and an embossed Buddhist proverb.
The Timberland x Edison Chen Future73 collection includes a range of items, including a boot designed for disassembly, an overshirt, a quilted vest, a hoodie, and a kimono chore coat. At least 50% of the boot is made from regeneratively farmed materials, and environmentally friendly manufacturing has been used throughout.
