The British lifestyle brand that is Barbour has collaborated with luxury fashion house, Moncler, for the very first time. Specifically, the two have worked to provide a limited range inspired by the combination of rave aesthetics and functional outwear.
The 2 Moncler 1952 Man collection includes dual-branded outerwear and accessories. The first of which is the Wight Jacket, a cut that is based on Barbour’s iconic Bedale style – which was first introduced in the 1980s. This jacket has been re-imagined in three colourways – bright acid yellow, black and an all-over ocelot animal print.
Secondly, expect the Barra Peacoat, a classic long-line raincoat made in 6oz waxed cotton and featuring military button detailing. This style has been introduced in a khaki beige colourway with traditional Barbour features such as a throat latch detail and it is lined in Barbour’s traditional Ancient Tartan with a quilted Moncler inner.
Last but not least, the collection has been rounded off with two bucket hats, both of which complement the previously mentioned Wight Jackets. Take a look at the imagery below. If you like what you see then head over to Barbour’s online store to cop your favourites.
