For the SS22 season, Timberland has released four new iterations of their classic Boat Shoes.
Their latest shoes bring Timberland GreenStride comfort soles and Regenerative Leather to two classic silhouettes. The GreenStride comfort soles were first introduced in FW21 and are made using a 75% combination of renewable sugar cane and rubber from trees.
Inspired by the 3-eye handsewn boat shoe design, the GreenStride Ray City EK+ Boat Shoes and GreenStride Original Ultra EK+ Boat Shoes combine classic boat shoe uppers with the rugged GreenStride boot soles. The shoe's fabric linings contain 50% recycled plastic, while EVA-blend foam midsoles add extra cushiony comfort; and as part of Timberland’s Earthkeepers series, these styles are made using Regenerative Leather.
