Vans has teamed up with New York-based skate brand, Fucking Awesome (FA), for a new experimental silhouette. The shoe is a partnership between long-time Vans family member and Fucking Awesome co-owner, Anthony Van Engelen. The shoe utilises a new technical process called SturdyStitch which aims to deliver a durable-yet-flexible upper.
The Vans X FA UltimateWaffle EXP comes in a white and black colourway and features a custom moulded Vans x FA tongue label, as well as AVE’s namesake on the heel and Vans x FA signature detailing on the heel and insole. The shoe is delivered in custom translucent packaging with FA’s signature “Hurt Your Eyes” print.
