Yet again, Vans and BAPE are joining forces to drop a brand new collaborative collection. Having said that, this time around the duo are going to be proving wear from head to toe, something they haven’t done in the past.

Ever since 1993, A Bathing Ape has been renowned for exporting the Japanese street style to the rest of the world. This is why it’s not surprising that Vans want to tap this aesthetic and bring it to their skatewear, something they flirted with in late 2020, when the two brands created a limited-edition Vans Customs collection.

Fast forward nearly a year, and for their first global collection, it’s only fitting that they bring together their iconic identities for an apparel and footwear range that redefines classic silhouettes. The collab will consist of multiple drops, the first of which includes two of Vans’ most recognizable footwear models – the Sk8-Hi 38 DX and the Authentic 44 DX. The Sk8-Hi 38 DX features BAPE’s ABC camo outline, with a classic Vans black and white twist. A custom camo tongue label and statement red Waffle outsole add an elevated touch. For fans of A Bathing Ape’s iconic camo print, the Authentic 44 DX combines BAPE’s first-ever camo and Vans’ ripstop canvas for a more low-key look.

Take a look at the Vans x BAPE collection below. If you like what you see then sit tight. The collection will be sold exclusively at Vans and BAPE retail locations, with different countries receiving the products at staggered times. You can see the full schedule below. Having said that, the products are set to make their way to Vans.eu and Bape.com too.

Launching on:
November 1st in China
November 13th in the Asia-Pacific Region
