The Air Force 1 is undeniably one of Nike’s most iconic silhouettes, and now with the help of Virgil Abloh – on Louis Vuitton’s behalf – the pair are set to release in a range of premium and rare iterations.

Specifically, Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2022 menswear runway show gave us a first look at the upcoming Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1 collaboration. Consisting of Mids and Air Force Lows, the collection boasts LV’s monogram print throughout as well as off-kilter labels, doubled-up tongues and plenty of Helvetica text.

Virgil’s signature design cues can be found across the shoe, unsurprisingly “AIR” can be seen printed on the soles and labelled laces, also expect co-branded “Louis Vuitton Air” tags stitched to the tongues. Additionally, embossed trunk bags were also seen on the runway with tags featuring the bold Nike Swoosh branding signifying possible further tie-ins to the collection.

Take a look at the Louis Vuitton x Nike collection below. If you like what you see then sit tight as it’s expected to roll out alongside the LV Spring Summer 2022 menswear collection later in the year. If you want to know exactly when then why not sign up to our newsletter?
