The Californian brand that is Vans are yet again returning to their very first factory, the Anaheim factory, in order to drop another set of unique offerings. The archives have unsurprisingly been explored for the latest release, consequently, paying homage to over 55 years of design history and heritage.
As for what to expect, the collections boasts both clothing as well as footwear, all of which references the past in an impressively detailed way. Specifically, the Anaheim Factory Needlework Collection arrives boasting three iterations of the brand’s popular Authentic model.
All three versions sport Vans‘ iconic checkerboard design, however, there are differences between them: one iteration is the usual black and white combination while the two turn to an all-white checkerboard aesthetic instead. From here, the black and white combo is complemented by the odd vibrantly coloured tile while the other two are adorned with either embroidered skulls or flowers all over. To round off the footwear, each Authentic is finished with a tonal marshmallow outsole and an OrthoLite sockliner.
