French luxury fashion brand, Dior, has revealed their latest collaborative collection. The capsule is in partnership with sacai and has been described as a “creative conversation between two designers, two heritages and two cultures.”
The collaboration consists of 57 pieces; all of which combine Dior’s high-end look with sacai’s technicality and hybridization. Consisting of mainly black and white colours, pieces like ready-to-wear garments, bags and accessories make up the conversation.
Stand out detailing in the collection includes the use of Dior’s floral patterns on sacai fabrics and a special emblem, which merges sacai and Dior’s names. Saddle universe bags also play a key part in the collaboration. The bags incorporate sacai-inspired touches such as pockets or drawstrings. Whilst others mix leather with nylon in an olive and orange colour palette, paying homage to classic bomber jackets.
For footwear, we get Dior Snow and Dior Explorer boots in a sporty style and for jewellery, we see the CD Icon logo in gold and silver-finish brass alongside sacai’s pearls.
