After his “Peace Be The Journey” colourway, Salehe Bembury has teamed up with New Balance once again, with a new colourway of their 2002R silhouette.
Bembury’s latest collaboration has been dubbed “Water Be The Guide” and, as the name implies, is a lifestyle take on the ocean and the worlds waters. Built from shaggy suede with leather overlays, the shoe features a selection of aquatic teals – reinforcing the marine theme. The shoes mesh underlays are a dusted coral hue, while rustic orange accents can be seen on the tongue’s backgrounds and branded overlays atop the lower throat and lateral heels.
To continue, the “N” hits on the midfoot are colour-blocked between forest green and neon green outlines. The midsoles are, for the most part, white. But they feature orange speckles throughout.
The Salehe Bembury “Water Be The Guide” New Balances don’t currently have a release date but, are expected to release in the near future.
