Jorja Smith returns with the release of her latest single, “Addicted.” The latest track arrives alongside a new music video directed by both Savannah Leaf as well as Jorja Smith herself. Sticking the lockdown that England is currently in, it appears that a lot of the filming fo the music video was done on a Mac Book.
Jorja’s latest track arrives with production from Compass, who decided to mix a substantial base with guitar and fairly muted drums. The exception to this is during the chorus, where Jorja opens up about the topic of the song. Specifically, the English singer-songwriter sings: “The hardest thing, you are not addicted to me, I’m the only thing that you need, You should be addicted to me, The hardest thing, I am too selfless to leave, You’re the only thing that I need, You should be addicted to me.”
