Vans are obviously known for providing skatewear, furthermore, their shoes famously stand up against even the toughest of griptapes. However, despite already being the brand of choice for a lot of skaters, Vans are revamping their most classic models with a brand new extra-tough construction.

Completely redesigned with skaters in mind, Skate Classics deliver more of what Vans skaters like Lizzie Armanto, Dustin Henry, Axel Cruysberghs, Daiki Hoshino, and Giovanni Vianna need to enable maximum progression. Specifically, the pairs have been reinforced with upgraded materials, however, that doesn’t mean comfort hasn’t been considered.

In terms of the shape, a moulded heel counter and revised tongue secure the latest pairs to the wearer’s feet. As well as this, expect the excess weight of the older pairs to be removed while the weight that remains is used to maximum efficiency. Rounding off the pairs are new gum rubber outsoles, the design of which increases the durability and longevity of the shoe while offering an improved grip.

Take a look at the Vans Skate Classics collection below. If you like the look of the Skate Authentic, Skate Slip-On, Skate Sk8-Hi, Skate Old Skool or Skate Era then sit tight as the pairs will be available on the 4th of March via Vans Skate retailers and Vans.eu/Skate.
