The artist KAWS has announced that he will be teaming up with the Japanese fashion label, Comme Des Garcons, for a Fall/Winter 2021 collection. KAWS took to Instagram to announce the collaboration – giving us a preview of what’s to come.
In the post we see a T-shirt sporting a bold, sketch-like graphic reading Comme Des Garcons with each letter as a caricature. This graphic then appears again as an all-over print on a gilet, a button-up shirt and a drawstring shoulder bag.
In the images we also catch a glimpse of a purple shirt with an all-over print of KAWS’s Chum character as well as a second gilet with a green background and more characterised letters dotted around; this time just spelling CDG. This same print can also be seen on a button shirt.
