Nike have teamed up with Slam Jam for their second Dunk High collaboration of October 2020. The pair, titled “Clear Black”, are a follow up to their “Light Grey” sneakers; which dropped at the beginning of the month.
The Clear Black dunks combine both tone and texture, featuring a leather upper with suede overlays. The sneakers swooshes look to be enclosed in a smoky black case, reaching all the way around the heel of the shoe – where we find a Slam Jam emblem. The Dunks come with two tone, black and white laces. Which give the shoe a ‘Double Laced’ look.
On the tongue of the shoe, the Nike branding has been flipped upside down – showing similarities to the Slam Jam “Class of 77” Blazers. A single line of perforations can be found along the edge of each quarter panel; replacing the standard perforated collection on the toebox.
The Slam Jam x Nike Dunk “Clear Black” is due to release via SNKRS on the 30thOctober, retailing for $130. You can check out the Clear Black Dunks below and be sure to subscribe to our newsletter, to never miss a drop date.
