Although he has stated multiple times that he was retiring, Conor McGregor has said that he will in fact be returning to the world of fighting.

Although details haven’t been confirmed, McGregor excited fans by saying that he will be taking on one of the best boxers the world has ever seen, Manny Pacquiao. It’s set to be a fairly exciting yet fair fight, given both of their respectable losses to the unstoppable Floyd Mayweather.

Taking to Twitter, McGregor claimed that he will be facing current WBA Welterweight Champion Manny Pacquiao in the Middle East. As for why this fight isn’t an assurance yet, McGregor’s manager, Audie Attar, is said to still be trying to reach a deal with Manny’s camp, with hopes to reach an agreement by late December 2020 or early January 2021.
