VANS are teaming with Science and Nature documentarians, National Geographic, in a five-piece footwear collaboration.

This is not the first time the Nat Geo have teamed up with a skate brand. Back in June 2019, the natural world enthusiasts collaborated with Element Skateboards; with a series of decks and clothing.

Each of the Vans silhouettes has been designed with original National Geographic artwork and imagery. The Sk8-Hi’s showcase a large, embroidered National Geographic logo, wrapping around the heel of the shoe. We also see the Slip On’s with an image of Greenland’s Pine Ice Glacier printed on top. As well as, a two-tone outsole.

The Vans Era depicts an ocean covered top, while the Authentic’s are covered in previous National Geographic magazine issue covers, over a yellow background. To round the collection off, we see some Old Skool’s. They sport the bold, Nat Geo, yellow on the vulcanized sole and have images of a Mexican Grey Wolf alongside a Red-Eyed Tree Frog on the upper.

Take a look at all five pairs from the National Geographic x Vans collaboration below. They will be available online from June 1st and will be priced $75 to $100.
