The American singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur that is Pharrell Williams has been working in conjunction with adidas Originals for a while now. In fact, the collaborative partners have one of the most prolific partnerships in the world of sports footwear, but yet again they are trying to up themselves with a brand new SS20 collection.

Interestingly, the latest collaborative project sees the inclusion of a new model dubbed the 0 to 60 STMT, but also turns to more regular adidas silhouettes such as the Solar Hu Glide, Stan Smith, Nizza Hi and Continental 80. More specifically, the collection is kicked off with the highly vivid 0 to 60 STMT which doesn’t appear to have a specific colour palette and instead uses every hue under the sun. It has done this using a wavy effect that has the colours seamlessly blend into one another above or below the numerous overlays that the pair boast. When it comes to fastening the model, it has done away with laces and instead relies on an off-centred zip as well as a strap around the ankle.

For the rest of the footwear collection things are kept more minimal, for example, the Stan Smith, Nizza Hi and Continental 80 utilize a cream leather upper. From here, Pharrell’s branding as well as adidas’ sits across the uppers, tongues, heels and toe caps. SOme of these stand out features take the form of debossed Hu branding, colorful laces, and triangular perforations.
