Last summer saw the American sportswear brand that is New Balance throw their hat into streetwear-ring, offering up their take on the ’90s-inspired footwear trend that was taking over the scene.

This took the form of the X-Racer, a sleek silhouette that provides a low-top panelled mesh and grained faux-leather construction which, not surprisingly, was received rather well. However, 6 months on and New Balance are looking to update the model with a fresh colourway, consequently opting for a new grey and silver combination.

Specifically, the pair arrive with a rounded toecap, a lacing system that has been adorned with grey and yellow detailing and branding that has been printed in orange upon the tongue. Last but not least a padded collar and the brand’s signature Abzorb™ foam rubber makes up the comfy midsole.

Take a look at the pair below, if you like what you see then you’re in luck as you can cop the pair now via stockists such as ssense.
