The renowned American fast-food chain that is KFC have made a controversial decision to vegan-ise what they are iconic for, chicken.
Specifically, Kentucky’s most famous food franchise has announced that given the rapid growth of the vegan and vegetarian lifestyles, they have no other choice but to at least consider making a menu option that’s suitable for them – something that they said they would never consider 6 months ago.
Specifically, KFC has teamed with the popular meat-alternative creators that is ‘Beyond Meat’ in order to add Colonel Sanders‘ 11 herb and spices to the best vegan chicken out there. However, as of yet, this is only being carried out in Atlanta.
Although, if the feedback received is good, and the new vegan-chicken approved, then we can expect the new menu item to make its way to all of the franchise‘s locations.
