Vans has always been synonymous with the do-it-yourself and easy-going attitude, that’s likely why the renowned American skate brand has focused on exactly this for their latest campaign.
Specifically, Vans has turned their attention to the hardcore punk movement that began in the late 1970s, something which consequently produced a large community of artists, musicians, and fans that share the DIY ethos.
Interestingly, Vans have looked to support these path-carving creatives via a whole range of ‘House of Vans’ and grassroots pop-ups. While there, visitors can participate in DIY activities that are unique to the event’s locations. Furthermore, the pop-ups will feature musicians and artists who’ve enabled the DIY culture since the ’70s, while individuals who are still very much involved in today’s scene will also be making an appearance.
