The iconic sportswear conglomerate that is Nike not long ago revealed a few of their upcoming sneakers, and lucky for us, all of which sport an aesthetic that is undeniably unique.

Interestingly, as a part of the Nike “Sketch to Shelf” and “Schematic” projects, the American footwear and apparel brand turned their attention to bringing a few of their original designs to life. Specifically, Nike did this with no changes to the concept art, consequently, pen-marks, scribbles, notes and imperfect colouring can be found all over the beloved Air Max 1 silhouette.

Last but not least the pair have been rounded off with the help of the original designer, Tinker Hatfield, who placed “SAMPLE, PROPERTY OF NIKE NOT FOR RESALE” on the heel as well as his signature.

Take a look at the Nike Air Max 1 “Sketch to Shelf” and “Schematic” sneakers below, if you like what you see and you’re based in the US then you’re in luck as you will be able to cop the pairs via Nike’s SNKRS app next week – on the 9th of August.
