A Previously Unreleased Freddie Mercury Track Just Dropped

The late iconic British singer, songwriter and record producer that is Freddie Mercury tragically passed away back in 1991, leaving us with his legendary and extensive discovery. However, it looks like we still haven’t heard all of it yet as a previously-unreleased song titled “Time Waits for Nobody” was just made public.

Radio 2’s Zoe Ball was, in fact, the first to play it publically, she was joined by the song’s original writer and Freddie’s longtime friend, Dave Clark. While speaking on the cut’s creation he stated that “when we first recorded it, I went to Abbey Road and we ran through with just Freddie and piano. It gave me goosebumps. It was magic.”

As for why it has taken so long to produce the track, it was only after a decade-long search that Clark was even able to find the original demo. After this began the process of isolating Mercury’s voice and finding the original keyboardist that was Mike Moran. All of the work finally paid off as the song was debuted and received well just yesterday.
