With over 20 years passing since the iconic franchise kicked off, fans of Rush Hour had made peace with the idea that movies will forever be a part of a trilogy and nothing more. However, after various recent teasers made their way online, it looks like there could be a fourth movie in the works.

As for what this teaser was, Chris Tucker took to his very own personal Instagram account in order to share an image of him and Jackie Chan with four fingers up. This is, of course, referencing the fact that the next movie will be the franchise’s fourth film. Specifically, the two played Detective James Carter and Chief Inspector Yan Lee respectively, however, with 12 years passing since the last film was released we will have to see how well the two fall back into their characters.

However, it’s not just these teasers that we are going off, Tucker himself confirmed on ESPN’s podcast that Rush Hour 4 is happening, stating: “This is gonna be the rush of all rushes.” Adding: “Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”
