On the 31st of March Nipsey Hussle was tragically killed after being the victim of a shooting outside of his LA-based Marathon clothing store.
In fact, the rapper was reportedly there as he was helping a newly released convict get settled, starting off by gifting the individual some new clothes. This was apparently a last minute decision as none of Nipsey’s security were made aware of the plans. Unfortunately, the man in need as well as his nephew were the two other victims of the gun attack that took Nipsey’s life, luckily neither of them were fatally wounded.
However, an update has been provided by the Los Angeles Police Department who have stated the suspect has in fact been captured and that he is currently in custody.
The man, named Eric, reportedly “walked up to the men and fired numerous shots at them. The victims were struck and fell to the ground.” The police then added that “the suspect ran southbound through an adjacent alley to a waiting vehicle. The suspect entered the passenger side of the vehicle and fled the area. The vehicle is a 2016 Chevy Cruze, white four doors, CA license plate 7Rjd742. The vehicle was driven by an unidentified female.”
Rest in Peace Nipsey Hussle.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti: Nipsey Hussle “was a tireless advocate for the young people of this city and of this world, to lift them up with the possibility of not being imprisoned by where you come from, or past mistakes, but the possibility of what comes in the future” pic.twitter.com/oaksY5GaSf
